YWCA receives Community Partner award from Global Learning Charter Public School

YWCA Board Members Lindsay Carter-Monteiro, Corday Silva, and Kendyll Ramos accept the Community Partner Award from Global Learning Charter Public School at the awards ceremony.

The YWCA received this year’s Community Partner award from the Global Learning Charter Public School (GLCPS). The award was presented at the 2025 Global Gala scholarship fundraiser. The strong partnership between the YWCA and GLCPS dates back more than 20 years to the founding of the school, with reciprocal ties to board leadership, partnering on events such as Advocacy day, Stand Up to Racism, and the YWCA’s Red Dress event.

“The YWCA accepts our interns, employs GLCPS alumni, and promotes educational initiatives for all students throughout the Southcoast.  The organization is steadfast in its mission of empowering women and eliminating racism at a time when it is needed most. The GLCPS community is truly grateful for their partnership and honored to recognize the YWCA as the 2025 GLCPS Community Partner.”
The YWCA is appreciative of our partnership with Global Learning Charter Public School and is honored to be recognized by the school as a trusted community partner.
