Girls Exclusive Program Awarded 2019 Human Rights Award

On December 10th, 2019 the City of New Bedford Human Rights Commission held their Second Annual Human Rights Day Breakfast and Awards Ceremony. Three New Bedford programs were awarded a Human Rights award, including our Girls Exclusive program for the Justice Flow Project.

Girls Exclusive Instructors, Jarynette Gonzalez and Aaliyah Colon, accepted the award on behalf of the girls. They shared a few words about what the Justice Flow Project means to them and the girls and how it has impacted the community. We are so grateful that our girls have been recognized for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to making a difference in their community and in the lives of others.
