How You Can Support YWCA On Your Next Grocery Run
We are thrilled to announce that YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts has been selected as the official beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the entire month of September!
Stop and Shop’s Community Bag Program is a fundraiser that supports non-profits by sending them $1 for every $2.50 reusable community bag purchased during the month at a Stop and Shop location.
Through this special partnership, supporting our mission is as simple as grabbing a reusable bag when you pick up your groceries. All throughout September just look for the vibrant, reusable $2.50 Community Bag at the Stop and Shop at 438 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, MA.
Every dollar raised through the Community Bag Program stays right here in Southeastern Massachusetts. These funds directly fuel our ongoing work to eliminate racism through community advocacy, racial justice education, and youth programming; empower women by providing resources, leadership development, and supportive community initiatives, and strengthen families across New Bedford and surrounding towns.
When you buy a bag, you aren’t just carrying your groceries home, you’re helping us carry our mission forward.
Help us spread the word by picking up a bag, posting a photo of your new bag on socials (make sure to tag us!), and tell a friend who shops at the Dartmouth St Stop & Shop.
Thank you to Stop & Shop for choosing us, and thank you for standing with YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts as we work toward a more equitable and sustainable community!
