YWCA to Continue Working for Women and Girls of Color

blog3In this time of change and transition, YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts remains resolute and focused on our mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.  We stand ready to work with a new administration to continue to prioritize the safety and full equality of women and girls of color. We have worked for change since 1911 and we call upon all to join us as we persist in this effort in 2017 and beyond.

YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts is part of an international movement serving over 2 million in the United States and 25 million worldwide.

Going forward, the YWCA will continue to be aggressive, strategic, and bold in countering changes that impact women, girls, and communities of color.
The YWCA is here, standing up for women and girls, as we have always done.
